What is WEA-PAC?

WEA-PAC is the Washington Education Association political action committee. The mission is to recommend and elect pro-public educaiton, pro-labor candidates to office. Everything we do in public education is political and decisions from funding, to class size, to curriculum are determined in the political sphere. Now, more than ever, we need to be active particpants in WEA-PAC. Simply put, WEA-PAC the sinlge most effective way for educators to influence policy in Washington State.

Post McCleary, FPEA educators have seen an average increase in salary of $18,000. 

For the 2022-23 school year, our 5.5% inflationary adustment (formerly COLA - cost of living adjustment) is the result of the work done by WEA and WEA-PAC.
