Our Mission

The Franklin Pierce Education Association (FPEA) advocates for strong partnerships among educators, district leadership, union siblings, and community members to empower educators, parents, guardians, and students. Together, we work to advance equitable educational opportunities for all students.

FPEA utilizes collaboration, collective bargaining, collective action, and commitment to quality education and educator rights, to promote safe and respectful working conditions. This ensures our students have engaging learning environments, proven academics, and high standards to thrive and become successful and contributing citizens.

Land and Labor Acknowledgement

Franklin Pierce schools is situated on the historical lands of the Puyallup and Coast Salish People who have stewarded the land since time immemorial. From our social justice foundation, we seek to recognize generations of injustice and act in solidarity with those whose ancestors were brought here against their will from slavery, and those who have been forcefully displaced here from our nation's conflicts. Their histories, our histories, are those of labor, sacrifice, and collective action.
